We have always talked about how great denim jeans are, and how much we love to wear them versus any other type of bottom. With so many different washes, hems, and waist lines to choose from, it's no wonder why. In truth, we all feel pretty safe buying a pair of medium wash low rise boot cut jeans, and there is good reason for that, this style is simple, and goes with pretty much any style of top you desire. How about jeans with holes? When was the last time you actually thought about buying a denim jean with rips? Have you even ever thought about it? Most people will think no way, jeans with holes are from the 1980’s and nobody wears them anymore. If this is how you feel, we believe we will be able to change your mind after you read this article. When it comes to the style of the rips, in today’s fashion, most jeans that have holes in them are not actually holes, they are rips, and you usually cant see your skin through them, they kind of give you a cute rocker look, but in a trendy and classy way. Long away are the days where wearing a pair of denim jeans with rips was only for trouble makers.

Now we will try to put the three different styles of jeans with holes for you, so you can see an example of what type of styles you will actually see when you go shopping, and what scenario they are best to wear. Lets say you need a pair of jeans with holes to wear to either school, go shopping, or just hanging out with family and friends, we would talk about a pair of whisker wash low rise skinny jeans, that would have three to four rips on the legs and a basic 5 pocket cut. This style of jean is casual, but offers you trendy and sexy look, perfect for an easy going look. Now lets say you wanted a pair of jeans with holes to go out to a nice dinner, or spend a night out in the town, we would suggest a pair of dark wash low rise skinny jeans, that would have stitched back pockets, and three or four fashion rips on the front legs, with some type of simple stitched design. This style of jean is way more fashion forward, and it’s the type of jean a celebrity would be caught wearing. For our last example, lets say you want a pair of jeans with holes to wear to work, that’s right folks work, we would recommend a pair of high waist dark wash skinny jeans, with trouser cut pockets, and two or three small rips on the front. This style of jean is classy, chic, and sexy, and you will be able to get away with it at the office, if you where the right attire with it.

We have just giving you three different styles of jeans with holes for three completely different scenarios, now lets put some outfits together to give you some ideas on how to wear a pair of denim jeans with rips. Lets say you decided on the whisker wash low rise skinny jeans, that had three to four rips on the legs and a basic 5 pocket cut, we would recommend you wear an espresso colored tee with a gold colored screen print, and a pair of cute flats. This look is very simple, yet very fashionable and easy going, perfect for school, shopping, or chilling with family and friends. If you decided on the dark wash low rise skinny jeans, that had stitched back pockets, and three or four fashion rips on the front legs, with some type of simple stitched design, we would suggest am ivory colored blouse, that would have a ruffled scoop neck, clingy bodice, and lace on the sleeves and hem, with a pair of black stilettos. This look is super sexy, super fashionable, and super cute, and will make you feel like a celebrity. For our last example we had the high waist dark wash skinny jeans, with trouser cut pockets, and two or three small rips on the front, we would hint at wearing a long sleeve taupe colored blouse, with ruffles down the bodice, tucked in, and an espresso open front cardigan over it, and a pair of rounded toe heels or flats. This look is very professional, but the soft rips and high waist, will give you a trendy and fun look, that is not over the top.

Jeans with holes are from the 1980‘s no doubt, but in all honesty, we have all grown up since then, and so have the styles of denim jeans. Don’t be afraid to try a new look, and with all the possibilities of styles that are available, there is surely one that was made just for you. Remember to always buy your exact size so your jeans look great, and always make sure your pair of jeans is made with at least 94% cotton, and offers at least 4% of spandex or elastic, so your jeans will stretch, otherwise after your first wash, they wont fit anymore. Just remember, a pair of denim jeans with rips, is just like buying a pair of denim jeans that have a vintage worn look to them. Vintage worn is what the fashion industry has changed the name to on jeans that look used, but are brand new, and offer that type of style.
